We recapped our logos, ethos, and pathos notes from yesterday and added more rhetorical devices. We discussed the persuasive techniques that Haemon uses in his speech to his father, Creon. We then paired Antigone's defense of burying her brother with Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "Letter from Birmingham Jail" to see how each presents their case. We did a SOAPSTone chart for both.
